Backer's Pet Industry Spring Trade Show Moves to Baltimore in 2008.   H.H. Backer Associates Inc. is pleased to announce that the 2008 Backer Pet Industry Spring Trade Show is moving to a new location and a new time frame: May 16-18, 2008, at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore , Md. The original April 4-6, 2008, dates in Atlantic City have been canceled.

This year’s show will feature the Aquatic Answers pavilion; buyer contests; Special Events shows; educational seminars and demonstrations; an all-industry party and more!  Register online beginning on December 17, 2007.

Backer's 42nd Annual Pet Industry Christmas Trade Show & Educational Conference, October 3-5, 2008, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont (Chicago), Ill. Backer's Pet IndustryChristmas Trade Show & Educational Conference has made Chicago the No. 1 October destination for Pet Industry Professionals. Our 2007 show featured 969 manufacturers and wholesalers exhibiting in 1,507 booths and drew more than 9,000 retail buyers from around the world. The show included buyer contests; the "Celebration of Style" Dog Grooming contest; demonstrations; educational seminars; an all-industry party and more!

The 2008 Christmas show will feature a new Aquatic Answers hall, which will be located in Halls B & D of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. It will feature aquatic exhibitors, freshwater and saltwater tank displays and two aquatic lounges to facilitate “Ask the Expert” sessions between well-respected aquatic professionals and store management/employees.
